This is a step-by-step guide to creating an account on IremboGov for Rwandans living abroad.
Prerequisites:
This is eligible for Rwandans living abroad only.
Applicants must have a Rwandan national ID.
Applicants must have a valid consular card number. Click here to learn how you can apply for a consular card.
Applicants must have access to the email address they used when acquiring their consular card.
Follow these steps to create your account.
Visit the Irembo platform at www.irembo.gov.rw and click on Sign Up.
A new page is displayed. Select "Sign up as a citizen living in Diaspora.”
Enter your Consular card number and your Rwandan national ID number, then click on "Register.”.
Account Verification: A verification code/one-time password (OTP) is sent to the email you used to obtain your consular card. Enter the OTP and click on Submit.
Set Your Password: Enter your new password and confirm it. Then, click on “Set new password.”
You will receive a confirmation message on your screen that confirms your account creation.
Now you can log in to your Irembo account to easily apply for all available services, make quick and secure payments, and efficiently manage your certificates and documents, ensuring a seamless experience on the platform.
