While some services on IremboGov are free of charge, others require payment before your application can be processed.
If you're applying for a paid service, you’ll receive a Billing Number (Bill ID) at the end of the application process.
Were you unable to pay right away? Don’t worry! In this article, we will show you 2 ways you can pay for a service, including;

How to find your application and pay later.
You can pay immediately after submitting your application or later. Just make sure to pay before the Bill ID expires.
Bill ID: This is a unique code you receive in the contact (phone number or email) you provide when submitting your application. This code is used to make your payment.
If you're still on the IremboGov platform after submitting your application, here's how to complete your payment right away:
Step 1: Once you submit your application, a window will open. You’ll automatically see a Bill ID (starts with “88…”) on the screen. You’ll also receive it via SMS or email (if provided).
Step 2: Click the Pay button shown on your screen below your Bill ID.
IremboGov supports both offline and online payment methods. Choose the one that works best for you:
Mobile Money (MTN & Airtel)
MTN MoMo: If you choose to use MTN Mobile Money, you can do either of the following;
Dial *182*3*7*Bill ID# and follow the prompts
Use MoMo Push: Click the “Pay” button on the screen to receive a pop-up on your phone for instant payment.
Airtel Money: If you choose to use Airtel Money, you can also do either of the following
Dial *182*4*5*1*Bill ID# and follow the prompts.
Use Airtel Money Push: Click Pay on Irembo to receive an instant pop-up
Bank Payments
- Bank of Kigali (BK)
Pay at a BK branch or through BK agents
Use the BK Mobile App or Internet Banking
- I&M Bank
Visit any I&M branch
Pay via Mobile App, Internet Banking, or USSD: *227#
- Ecobank
Pay at the nearest Ecobank branch
Online Card Payments
Use your VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. Just select your card, enter details, and click Pay.
No extra charges — pay in Rwandan Francs (Rwf) or US Dollars (USD).
You didn’t pay right away? No problem! You can return and pay anytime before the Bill ID expires.
Here’s how:
Step 1: Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and click on “Find Applications” on the homepage.
Step 2: Click on the dropdown and select to search by Bill id. Type your Bill ID into the search field and click on the search icon.
Step 3: Once your application appears, confirm the details and click the Pay button.
Step 4: Select your preferred payment option (see Payment Methods available) and complete the process.
